Peter Merrill

Peter Merrill is a tax policy consultant at PwC, where they focus on matters such as the International Tax Policy Forum and the Digital Tax Study Group. They founded PwC’s National Economics & Statistics group and served as a Principal for 25 years, providing high-level consulting to various organizations. Prior to joining PwC in 1989, they were the Chief Economist for the U.S. Congress’s Joint Committee on Taxation. With a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University, Peter has extensive experience advising governments on tax policy reforms across several nations.
