Richard Jacobs

Richard Jacobs is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in assurance and auditing. Currently serving as the Regional Assurance Leader for South Africa and Assurance COO for Africa at PwC since July 2023, Richard's prior roles include Partner and Deputy Assurance Leader for the Western Cape at PwC South Africa, as well as Senior Manager positions at PwC in both South Africa and the UK. Earlier career highlights include founding Underdog Investments (Pty) Ltd and holding various managerial roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers South Africa and UK. Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Economics from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Africa.
