Denise Schwieger is a Principal in the New York Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance Tax practice at PwC, where they serve as the Banking and Capital Markets Tax Sector Champion. With over 25 years of specialized experience, Denise has worked with financial services and investment fund clients on tax issues related to financial institutions and products. Previously, they were a Principal at KPMG from 1999 to 2014. Denise is also pursuing a JD at the New England School of Law and a BS in Accounting from Syracuse University, having earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Recognized as an industry thought leader, Denise has authored numerous articles and speaks frequently at industry conferences.
