Scott McCandless

Scott McCandless is currently a principal in the Tax Policy Services practice at PwC's Washington National Tax office, a position held since 2014, where they provide strategic advice on legislative and regulatory policy issues. Prior to this role, Scott served as Tax Counsel to Congressman Tim Griffin and Senator Olympia J. Snowe, advising on various tax and trade matters. They also gained extensive experience as a Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Washington National Tax Services and began their career as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of International Trade. Scott is a graduate of Emory University School of Law and has authored several articles on energy tax policy.
