Shane Powell

Shane Powell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the assurance and audit sectors, currently serving as a Director at PwC since April 2006. As the Product Owner for PwC’s global online inspections application on the RSA Archer eGRC platform, Shane defines business requirements and leads a team comprising a Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, and Project Manager. In addition, Shane has co-led the Global Assurance Quality Review Group, overseeing the Service Delivery Centre Quality Review program, creating methodologies and supporting networks for its implementation across 25 PwC Member Firms. Shane contributed to setting audit policies within PwC’s Global Assurance Methodology Group and authored the SDC Assurance Standards. Prior experience includes managing audit engagements at Ernst & Young and PwC. Shane holds an M Com in South African and International Taxation from North-West University and an Hons-B.Compt in Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation from the University of South Africa.
