Sharon Chen

Sharon Chen, CPA, is a Senior Data Engineer who transitioned from a Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting background to pursue opportunities in software engineering and security engineering. At PwC, Sharon enhanced backend data pipelines, resolved security vulnerabilities, and led infrastructure migrations using technologies such as Python, SQL, and Azure. Prior to that, Sharon worked as a Financial Analyst at Verisk, where they monitored P&L and built financial dashboards. Currently, Sharon is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology at the University of Pennsylvania while serving as a Teaching Assistant and Academic Coach.
