Sheldon Gamzon has extensive experience in retirement actuarial roles, beginning as an Associate Consulting Actuary at Buck Consultants from March 1976 to September 1982, then serving as Lead Retirement Actuary at Johnson and Higgins until September 1986. Following this, Sheldon held the position of Principal at Mercer Consulting from September 1986 to May 1994. Since 1994, Sheldon has been a Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading the Public Sector and Hospital Industry Retirement Practices, while also managing a think tank focused on innovative plan designs and investment strategies for both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. Sheldon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Polytechnic University, obtained between 1972 and 1976.
