Sumit Kumar

Sumit Kumar is an Associate-II at PwC since June 2022, focusing on cost reduction projects, notably redesigning a procure-to-pay workflow that achieved a 2% reduction in working capital for a major retail client. Previously, Sumit worked as a Summer Intern at Del Monte Foods, creating an automated invoice tracking system using machine learning. In addition, Sumit served as a Community Teaching Assistant for the MIT on edX Micromaster Programme, assisting nearly 20,000 students. Other roles include Student Ambassador at the National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Summer Intern at VFS Global, and various leadership positions in campus organizations. Sumit holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from RV College Of Engineering.
