Wayne Borchardt

Wayne Borchardt, PhD, is the Director of Research for PwC Global Thought Leadership, where they oversee flagship management research projects. With over three decades of strategy and management consulting experience across Africa, Europe, and Asia, Wayne previously served as a Managing Director at Accenture Strategy for 11 years. They founded The Decision Advisory Group and have clinical expertise in various industries, focusing on growth strategy and enterprise transformation. Wayne holds a Ph.D. in Decision Science and teaches as adjunct faculty at multiple prestigious institutions. They relocated from Cape Town, South Africa, to Cascais, Portugal, in 2022, and are passionate about reading, travel, and sports.
