Alex Smith

Alex Smith has a diverse background in energy trading and engineering, currently serving as an Energy Trader at px Group since May 2021, where responsibilities include intraday trading in the GB wholesale electricity markets and managing client portfolios. Prior to this role, Alex worked as an Electrical Signal Tester at Alstom from January 2015 to May 2021, focusing on railway electrical testing on a national level. Earlier experience includes serving in the British Army as a Royal Engineer from September 2007 to December 2014, participating in various international exercises and operational tours.
