Phil Sheffer

Phil Sheffer is an accomplished engineering and maintenance leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the TeesREP Engineering and Maintenance Manager at px Group since April 2025, Phil has previously held significant roles such as Head of Wilton Operations at Sembcorp Industries Ltd and Group Director, Critical Environments at Global Switch, where strategic direction in operations and health & safety was emphasized. With a strong background in engineering management, including roles as Principal Engineering Authority and Engineering Maintenance Manager at px Group and Sembcorp Industries Ltd respectively, Phil has demonstrated expertise in ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality maintenance standards. A graduate of the University of Warwick with a BEng Honours in Mechanical Engineering, Phil’s career includes leadership positions at organisations such as Avery Dennison, Rio Tinto Alcan, and Victrex, showcasing a commitment to safety culture, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
