Ian M. is a seasoned Security Operations Leader and DFIR Specialist with 20 years of experience in solving complex cyber crimes. They began their career at Orange as a Business Technical Support Specialist before transitioning to forensic roles at IntaForensics and North Yorkshire Police. Ian held several positions within TalkTalk, culminating as a Principal Digital Forensics and Incident Response Specialist, where they enhanced incident response capabilities and automated threat hunting processes. Currently, Ian serves as the Principal DFIR & Security Automation Specialist at PXC, focusing on developing strategies for automation in security operations. They also hold a PGCert in Forensic Computing from Cranfield University and completed an advanced course in Network Forensics at SANS Technology Institute.
