Bob Belderbos

Bob Belderbos has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bob'smost recent position was as a Co-Founder at PyBites, where they focused on creating well-rounded Python developers through a coding platform, community, and coaching service. Prior to that, Bob worked at Oracle for seven years, starting as a Software Developer in the Construction Engineering Global Business Unit. During their time at Oracle, they also held the role of Principal Technical Support Analyst / Software Developer, where they developed automation solutions and tools using Python. Before joining Oracle, Bob worked at Sun Microsystems as a Sr Technical Support Analyst. Bob started their career at Capgemini, where they served as a Sun support engineer. Additionally, Bob has experience as a Financial Analyst at both CHEP and VUmc, where they built Excel tools and helped architect a helpdesk utility.

Bob Belderbos completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus in Business Economics (cum laude) from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 2004. In 2014, they pursued professional development in software development, earning multiple certificates from the O'Reilly School of Technology. In 2016, they obtained the Quality Software Development: Maintainability Foundation certificate from the Software Improvement Group (SIG). Bob also holds additional certifications in Python programming and data science obtained from various institutions such as Coursera and PyBites. Additionally, in 2007, they received the Solaris 10 System Administrator certification from Sun Microsystems.
