Tim Woodward is the Managing Director at Prelude Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investing in low-carbon innovations to combat climate change, where Woodward has overseen investments in over 50 companies since 2013. In addition to leading Prelude Ventures, Woodward serves as a board member for multiple organizations including Understory, Pyka, Terabase Energy, LuxWall, LevelTen Energy, Voltus, Inc., MineSense Technologies Ltd., Encycle, and Powerhive, contributing expertise in climate-responsive solutions across various sectors such as insurance, agriculture, energy, and mining. Tim Woodward holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics and Energy, Environmental Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
