Michael Sofaer

Michael Sofaer has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 2013 as President of Lazerbee, Inc., where they founded a company to produce and sell Bitcoin gift cards. Michael then became Senior Lecturer at General Assemb.ly, teaching the Web Development Immersive and creating a new Javascript curriculum. In 2012, they became Chief Information Officer and Chief Architect of Tradehill, Inc., leading a team of 6 engineers and designing the infrastructure for a floating Bitcoin exchange. From 2015-2016, they were a Member of the Board at PLC Diagnostics, a Consultant at Mavenlink, and CTO at Brian Kelly Capital Management, Digital Asset Group. From 2019-2021, they were Director of Software Engineering at Catalist, Chief Executive Officer at Pylons, and Director of NFTs at Tendermint.

Michael Sofaer obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Case Western Reserve University.
