Camilo V. is an experienced AI Solution Designer currently employed at Pypestream since December 2025. Prior to this role, Camilo served as an AI Agents Architect and Data Scientist at Axle from October 2021 to December 2025, where significant contributions included the development of an autonomous agent-based system to enhance data extraction from medical study PDFs, achieving a remarkable efficiency improvement, and the creation of AskAithena, a system for indexing scientific articles with a unique analytical framework. Earlier experience as a Data Scientist and Trainee involved designing Python APIs for biomedical image analysis in collaboration with NIH/NCATS. Camilo also held an associate position at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, focusing on data science tasks including data organization and the development of a Julia package for REST API interactions. Educational credentials include studies at the University of Maryland and Montgomery College, along with attendance at Zhejiang Wanli University.
