Ryan Hennig

Ryan Hennig has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Ryan began their career in 1998 as an SDE Intern at Classmates. Ryan then moved to Rendition Networks as an Intern in 2002, followed by Amazon.com as an SDE Intern in 2003. In 2006, Ryan joined Microsoft as a Software Design Engineer. In 2012, they worked as a Big Data Engineer at eBay. After that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at iSpot.tv, Inc. from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Ryan became a Senior Data Engineer at Antara Health, and in 2021 they joined Pypestream as an Engineering Manager / Architect and Lead Data Scientist. In their current role, they are working on the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence team, developing neural network based Natural Language Understanding technology, and leading the creation of a data pipeline for the company's operations data.

Ryan Hennig completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Washington in 2006. Ryan then obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including Cloudera, Coursera, and Google, between 2012 and 2019. These certifications include the Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop, Functional Programming in Scala, Cloudera Certified Specialist in Apache HBase (CCSHB), Deep Learning Sequence Models, Deep Learning Specialization, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Architecting with Google Cloud Platform, Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
