Mark Hall

Mark Hall is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data mining. Currently serving at Pyramid Analytics since January 2021, Mark has previously held roles at Hitachi Vantara as a Machine Learning Architect and at Pentaho as a Senior Data Mining Consultant/Engineer, where leadership on the Pentaho Data Mining (Weka) project was a notable contribution. Furthermore, Mark's academic background includes a position as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Waikato, focusing on computer science education and research in machine learning, and a postdoctoral researcher role involving fundamental research and maintenance of the Weka software. Mark earned a PhD in Machine Learning and Data Mining from The University of Waikato from 1992 to 1997.
