Derek Borkowski

Derek Borkowski, PharmD, is a founder and CEO at Pyrls, a leading drug education and reference tool for clinicians and student-clinicians, since January 2020. In addition, Derek serves as an advisor at Swenson Pharmacy Advisors since September 2023. Previous roles include market pharmacist at Walgreens from May 2018 to November 2021, and manager of clinical product development at MyMeds from August 2016 to October 2021, where clinical innovation was a focus. Derek's early experience includes a health fellowship with On Deck and numerous advanced pharmacy practice experiences at various healthcare institutions. Educational credentials encompass a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and additional studies at Winona State University and Cotter High School.
