Mary McCarthy

Mary McCarthy is an experienced venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and company builder with a strong background in chemistry and catalysis. They served as a postdoctoral researcher at RWTH Aachen University and the University of Amsterdam before holding various leadership roles at SABIC, including Senior Technology Manager and Chief Executive Officer at Boostani. Currently, Mary is a Partner at Sofinnova Partners and a member of the Women Climate Leaders Network at the European Investment Bank, while also serving on multiple boards, including Pyrowave and Fuenix Ecogy. Mary holds a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry from University College Dublin and has pursued business education at esteemed institutions like London Business School and IE Business School.
