PYTHEAS Technology
Frederic Mosca has a diverse work experience in various industries. Frederic co-founded and served as the CEO of PYTHEAS Technology since January 2016. Frederic then joined iXblue as the VP of Sonar Systems in September 2016. Prior to that, Frederic worked as a part-time lecturer in Applied Physics at Ecole Centrale Paris from September 2011. From December 2009 to December 2015, they were the R&D Manager of the Sonar System Division at iXBlue. Frederic also had experience as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University from February 2012 to September 2012. Before that, they were a PHD Student at SuperSonic Imagine from September 2007 to October 2010. Frederic's career started as an R&D Scientist at IXSEA from October 2005 to December 2009.
Frederic Mosca's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at Centrale Lille, where they completed their studies in an unspecified field. From 2004 to 2005, they attended CentraleSupélec, focusing on Applied Physics.
Later, in 2007, Mosca pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Signal and Image Processing at Télécom Paris, a program which they successfully completed in 2010.
Returning to education after a gap, in 2015, Mosca joined HEC Paris for the CHALLENGE+ program, which they completed in 2016.

PYTHEAS Technology
PYTHEAS Technology is developing an innovative and patented Power Take Off (PTO) dedicated to renewable energy. The PYTHEAS Technology solution has the following characteristics: - Constant performance at low speed and partial load, increasing the annual electricity production on a given site, for a same prime mover - An electrical torquenot depending on rotational speed, reducing the stress on the mechanical structures - An electronically controllable electrical torque with millisecond precision, optimizing the dynamic behavior of the prime mover without costly and fragile mechanical control - PYTHEAS Technology's PTO is a synchronous generator producing DC. Therefore, it requires only one power conversion stage for the production of grid code compliant electric power
