Derek T.

Derek T. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Derek worked at Pythian starting in 2018, holding various roles including Team Lead in Cyber Security, Cyber Security Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, and Technical Analyst. At Eclipse Foundation, they served as a Systems Administrator from 2016 to 2017, where they improved on-boarding processes, automated resource provisioning, and implemented infrastructure monitoring controls. Prior to that, at Valeo Vision Systems from 2013 to 2015, Derek worked as a Business Systems Analyst, leading security audits, conducting risk assessments, and establishing information security controls. Derek'scareer began at Hand In Hand Children's Cancer Charity, where they served as an IT Project Manager, focusing on project management, requirements gathering, and usability testing.

Derek T. completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Galway in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in 2007. Derek also holds a BBA in Marketing from the same institute, which they completed in 2006.
