Dylan Jay is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and community leadership. As a co-founder and Head of Solutions at PretaGov since 2008, Dylan focuses on security and privacy-driven solutions for critical data protection sectors. Dylan also serves as Chief Technology Officer at Vaultmatix and has been a managing member of the Python Software Foundation since 2008, contributing to the growth of Python communities in Australia and Thailand, and played a key role in establishing PyCon Thailand in 2018. As a core developer and leader of the Plone User Interface Team, Dylan enhances open-source software, while also founding and organizing the ThaiPy Bangkok Python Meetup. Previous roles include serving as CTO of PretaForm and as founder of IntroVino, as well as organizing for the Sydney Python Users Group. Dylan holds degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales.
