Guilherme Bacellar

Guilherme Bacellar, also known as Bill, is a seasoned Cyber Security and Fraud Researcher currently employed at unico IDtech since September 2021. With extensive experience in internet banking and e-commerce fraud analysis, Guilherme has also served as an Independent Cybersecurity and Fraud Researcher, focusing on machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. Prior roles include key positions at Itaú Unibanco, where significant contributions were made to cyber defense strategies and fraud prevention initiatives within internet and mobile banking. Guilherme holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Santo Amaro and has pursued further education in security and cryptography from institutions like the University of Maryland and Stanford University. Current ongoing education includes a specialization in Computational Forensic Expertise, set to conclude in December 2025.
