Mannie Young

Mannie Young has extensive experience in the technology and programming community, currently serving as the IOC Chair and Co-Organizer/Executive Committee Member at PyCon Africa since August 2018. Mannie is a Diversity and Inclusion Workgroup Member and a Fellow of the Python Software Foundation, with active contributions as a Contributing & Managing Member since June 2017. As a Co-Founder of Python Ghana and PyClubs, both initiated in 2017 and 2022 respectively, Mannie plays a pivotal role in fostering local programming communities. Additional contributions include organizing the Deep Learning Indaba 2023 and serving as COO at 2PiRi until July 2023. Mannie's past involvement also includes a position on the Program Committee at Geekle.us in 2020.
