Marc-André Lemburg is a seasoned professional in the software and Python programming communities, currently serving as CEO and Chief Solution Architect at eGenix.com since January 2000. Lemburg founded IKDS Marc-André Lemburg in 1993 to provide web technologies and design services, which have since merged into eGenix. As a co-founder of Python Meeting Düsseldorf, Lemburg has fostered local Python engagement since 2012. Additionally, Lemburg plays a key role in the Python Software Foundation as a Core Developer and former Director, contributing to the development of significant features and overseeing organizational efforts. Lemburg has chaired several EuroPython conferences and led the EuroPython Society, promoting Python usage across Europe.
