Matt Lebrun

Matt Lebrun is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Director of Technology and Lead Developer at TotalRewards Software, Inc. since October 2017, where oversight of the core development team and maintenance of six software updates per quarter are key responsibilities. In addition to this role, Matt co-founded CodeHappy in June 2018, focusing on teaching Python and other software engineering skills through tailored training programs. As co-founder and President of Python.PH, Inc., Matt has been actively involved in promoting Python's utility in the Philippines' IT industry, including organizing PyCon Philippines conferences since 2014. Matt is a Fellow Member of the Python Software Foundation, recognized for contributions to the local Python ecosystem, and has previously held teaching positions in Python and JavaScript at iACADEMY and ActiveLearning Inc., respectively. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Developer role at Save22, where responsibilities spanned development architecture, DevOps, and improving processes. Matt holds a BS in Information Technology from Don Bosco Technical College, completed in 2008.
