Akhil Varanasi

Akhil Varanasi is an emerging professional with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and software development. Currently serving as the Head of Research - AI at Innotech Manipal and Chief AI and Marketing Officer at Crescentia One, Akhil has also contributed as an AI Researcher and held roles in various organizations, including a delegate position at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations Conference 2025. Akhil's research interests encompass Agentic AI, Multimodal Large Language Models, Transformers, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation. Previous experience includes internships in software development and robotics, as well as a significant role as an undergraduate student researcher at Manipal Institute of Technology. Akhil has been actively involved in open-source contributions and has been recognized as a student fellow and ambassador for PyTorch. Educational qualifications include an Intermediate degree from Delhi Public School, Bangalore South, and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology at Manipal Institute of Technology.
