Patrick Jika

Patrick Jika is a seasoned professional in the field of archival and information management with significant experience across several organizations. Currently serving as a Project Archivist at Pyxus International, Inc. since April 2019, Patrick is adept in strategic planning, workflow coordination, and data curation. Simultaneously, Patrick has held a position as an Archivist at Alliance One since July 2015, overseeing the administration and operations of the archive section. A recent role as a Visiting Archivist for Mashonaland Tobacco Company in September 2023 involved advising on records and archival systems setup. Previous experience includes an Information Assistant role at the National Archives of Malawi from July 2013 to July 2015, where duties spanned library services, conservation, and national records management. Patrick is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the University of Malawi, having acquired a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Mzuzu University.
