Alan Wang

Alan Wang has worked in the software engineering industry since 2000. Their earliest role was as a Software Engineer at Advanced Optimization Systems, where they developed and maintained codebase for ASPX and SQL server for Preferential Bidding System (PBS). Alan then worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon Institute for Complex Engineered Systems, where they engineered database and graphical user interfaces on a Palm handheld (PDA). From 2004 to 2009, they worked as a Senior R&D Engineer at cPacket Networks, and also as a Consultant at Touch Revolution Inc. In 2011, they joined Meta, where they held various roles such as Software Engineer, Software Engineer Technical Lead, Embedded SW/HDL Engineer, Production Engineer, and Engineering Manager. Alan is currently employed at Q Bio as a Software Engineer since 2022.

Alan Wang attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned both a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
