Chris Hansen has a diverse work experience in data engineering and analytics. Chris is currently the Head of Data Engineering at Q-Centrix since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Health Catalyst from 2014 to 2022, holding roles such as Analytics Director, VP of Research and Development, Sr. Analytics Director, Consulting Analytic Engineer, Database Performance, Tuning, and Optimization Engineer, Data Governance Liaison Between Analytic Services Organization and Product Dev, Technical Director, and Senior Data Architect. Before their time at Health Catalyst, Chris served as the Lead Data Warehouse Architect at Vivint from 2013 to 2014 and as the Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect, Enterprise Data Warehouse Developer, and Reporting Systems Specialist at Overstock.com from 2008 to 2013. Chris also worked as a Systems Developer at Ciralight Global from 2006 to 2008 and as a Technical Writing Consultant at Weber State University from 2005 to 2006. Chris began their career as a Financial Detail Assistant at JC Penney in 2000.

Chris Hansen has a strong educational background in the field of technology and data management. Chris completed their Master of Science in Database Technologies from Regis University, specializing in Teradata and Oracle, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Writing and IS&T from Weber State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Chris also holds an Associates of Applied Science degree in Accounting from LDS Business College, which they earned from 2000 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. Chris holds certifications such as Certified Servant Leader from Health Catalyst, SUMMIT 2022: Change Data Captured from Snowflake, SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake, and various Hands-On Essentials certifications from Snowflake. Chris also holds certifications in Health Catalyst Fundamentals - Atlas and IDEA from Health Catalyst, as well as Importing & Cleaning Data with R and the R Programming Track from DataCamp. Notably, Chris also obtained a Graduate Certificate of Database Development from Regis University in 2012.
