Aleksei Khindanov

Aleksei Khindanov, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at Q-CTRL and has over seven years of experience in quantum computing research and nine years in numerical simulations. Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Ames National Laboratory, where they focused on algorithms for near-term quantum computers. Aleksei earned their Ph.D. in Physics from UC Santa Barbara, where they also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant. Their expertise includes quantum circuit simulations, hardware design for topological quantum computers, and extensive programming skills primarily in Python and Julia.
