Roshan Sajjad is a Senior Research Scientist at Q-CTRL, where they have been contributing since 2025. They previously held the position of Senior Quantum Engineer at HRL Laboratories, LLC in 2024 and completed internships in derivatives trading and winter trading at Valkyrie Trading and IMC, respectively, in 2023 and 2017. Additionally, Roshan gained experience as a Mechanical Design Intern at Lockheed Martin and as an Energy Engineering Intern at Tesla in 2016 and 2017. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Dual Degree in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University and are currently a PhD candidate in Physics at UC Santa Barbara, where they have been an NSF Quantum Foundry Graduate Fellow since 2018.
