William Blackie is a hands-on, highly technical builder and technology leader with extensive experience in cloud e-commerce platforms. They served as the Head of Platform Engineering at Grubhub, where they expanded the engineering organization to support a multitude of teams and managed significant annual vendor expenditure. William's previous roles included Chief Software Architect at Thomsons Online Benefits, where they developed a widely-used SaaS platform. Currently, they are a Principal Software Engineer at Q-CTRL and hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Griffith University.
