Cephas Hyde M. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Cephas Hyde started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, where they worked on projects related to turbines and implemented lean principles for product improvements. Cephas Hyde then served as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, Vizag Steel Plant, focusing on process flow and material handling optimization.

Cephas then joined Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) as a Test Engineer, taking on the roles of both 3rd Shift Lead and 1st Shift Lead. In this role, they supervised shifts, designed and implemented test methods and equipment, and ensured compliance with testing procedures for medical devices.
