Matt Teran has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2016 as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the US Navy. After leaving the Navy in 2019, they worked as an Independent Contractor for RRS Patient Decontamination until 2022. In 2021, Matt began taking on personal projects as a Software Engineer. In 2022, they worked on several software engineering projects including a reviews microservice, Love Letter, and Pomodoro Buddy, where they demonstrated proficiency in full-stack development and utilized technologies such as Socket.IO and Zustand. Matt also worked at BestestBuy as a Front End Engineer, leading a team of four engineers in redesigning and implementing a retail portal. Most recently, they joined QA Wolf as a Product Engineer, where they have made significant contributions to achieving 80% test coverage in just four months.
