Paula Henderson

Paula Henderson is an experienced education professional with a strong background in business and accounting instruction. Currently serving as the Head of Team at QA Ltd since March 2021, Paula previously held multiple positions including Deputy Head of Centre and Lecturer in Business. Paula's experience at Monkwearmouth Academy from January 2020 to February 2021 included responsibilities as an Applied Subject Coordinator, overseeing vocational provision and ensuring quality assurance for several subject areas. Prior to this, Paula spent nearly a decade at St Joseph's Catholic Academy, managing the delivery of advanced and vocational qualifications, and worked as a Lecturer in Business and Accounting at South Tyneside College, where Paula led a successful team maintaining 100% pass rates at A2 level. Paula holds a Master of Arts in Accounting from the University of Aberdeen and a PGCE in Business Teacher Education from the University of Sunderland.
