Bomaya Kamara, MSW, is a dedicated mental health provider currently employed by Queen Anne's County Public Schools since February 2022. In this role, Bomaya collaborates with student support and school climate teams to create a positive and equitable learning environment, provides consultative support to educational stakeholders, and implements counseling services tailored to students' academic and emotional needs. Previous experience includes serving as Lead Academic Director and Student Leadership Advisor at StreetSquash, where Bomaya oversaw academic programs and staff, and participating in advocacy training with the National Urban League. Bomaya holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore and has further education in Non-Profit Management from Rutgers School of Social Work, alongside a background in Political Science from Howard University and General Studies from Chesapeake College.
