Trina Casey

Trina Casey has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Trina began their career in 2002 as a Pension Conversion Administrator at Canada Life and Blackrock, where they gained experience in importing data to Access Databases and working with Excel spreadsheets. In 2005, they joined Vistakon as a Production Technician, responsible for supervising and maintaining an automated production line for contact lenses. Trina then transitioned to CR2 in 2013, where they worked as a QA Engineer, focusing on software quality assurance, test case creation, and manual testing. Currently, Trina is at QAD, where they began as a Software QA Engineer in 2015 and was later promoted to Principal Quality Assurance Engineer.

Trina Casey pursued their education from 1995 to 1999 at Salesian's Secondary School, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate. Trina then attended the University of Limerick from 2000 to 2010, earning a B.Sc in Computer Systems. Trina also received in-house training in 2008, specializing in Pneumatics, sensors, and PLC's through City & Guilds. In 2005, they completed an Introduction to PLC's and Pneumatics course at Limerick Institute of Technology. Trina has obtained additional certifications, including Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in 2021 and ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level from the ISTQB in 2018. Trina's educational journey also includes attending Patrickswell NS, Lough Gur, details of which have not been provided.
