Qapqa, founded in 1992, is the trusted provider of advanced automatic welding technology and services for pipeline construction in the oil & gas, hydrogen, water, and mining industries. With over 30 years of experience, we deliver high-performance welding systems, auxiliary equipment, and on-site technical support in the form of experienced technical personnel and welding crews. We support reliable execution even in the most demanding environments. We operate from four locations: the Netherlands (HQ), Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

All product development, engineering, manufacturing, and support is fully in-house in our factory in Italy, allowing us to control every detail of the technology lifecycle—ensuring consistency, flexibility, and continuous innovation.

Our flagship system, the PWT Auto XCS, is a fully automatic P-GMAW welding system capable of delivering high-quality welds from root (with or without copper backing) to cap for welding mainline and NDRC’s, including FCAW for crossings and tie-ins.

In addition to our automatic welding solution, we provide experienced welding crews, field service technicians, and project welding support. This includes welding procedure development, WPS documentation preparation, operator training, and support during PQT/WQT and AUT validation phases (including ECA). With this full-scope approach, we help clients reduce downtime, improve welding quality consistency, and increase project efficiency.

Qapqa automatic welding solutions are used on large-scale pipeline projects worldwide. These pipeline projects benefit not only from our automatic welding technology but also from our hands-on project support and deep technical expertise.

Wherever your pipeline goes, Qapqa is ready to deliver a solution you can rely on!

Qapqa is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified demonstrating our commitment to quality management, environmental responsibility and occupational health & safety.
