Bashir Ahmad is currently the Casthouse Process Manager at Qatalum, having previously worked as a Process Engineer in the casthouse. They served as a Project Manager and Process Engineer at Norsk Hydro from 2009 to 2015, following a role as a Trainee Engineer. Bashir was also a part-time Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University from 2004 to 2007, where they contributed to the physical metallurgy institute. They hold a Master’s degree in Metallurgy and Materials from RWTH Aachen University and are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering at UET Lahore.
