Ferhat Sheikh

Ferhat Sheikh is a seasoned tax professional with over 30 years of experience across various global markets including the UK, North Africa, Caspian, and the Middle East. They currently serve as the Head of Tax - Marketing & Trading at QatarEnergy, where they manage all taxation matters in the Oil & Gas Value Chain after the integration of Muntajat into Qatar Petroleum. Previously, Ferhat held significant tax roles at notable companies such as BP, Amoco, and Etihad Airways. They possess expertise in international tax planning, corporate structuring, and VAT implementation, complemented by strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Ferhat's education includes pursuit of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Thames Valley University.
