Ben Peleg

Chief Data Officer at Qatch

Ben Peleg is the Chief Data Officer at Qatch. Prior to joining Qatch, they served as an advisor for data operations at BESTIR. In this role, they were responsible for planning and executing a production scheduling system for managing the development and manufacturing of custom-designed products for fashion retail spaces. Ben also modeled a PostgreSQL product database, including ETL processes and pipelines for populating the database with aggregated and parsed data from various sources across the organization.

Before joining BESTIR, Peleg worked as a data analyst at El Al Airlines. In this role, they were responsible for extracting KPIs and supporting business blueprints using data. Ben also produced a Python program and UI for automatic form issuing, including product labels, bills of lading, concept proposal decks and product catalogs.

Prior to working in the private sector, Peleg served as a liaison officer, communications & activities manager at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and managing research projects and data analysis for the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200.

Ben Peleg graduated from Parsons School of Design - The New School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design.
