Undergraduate Researcher at QB3

Brian Wen has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Brian started their career in 2015 as the Founder of Youth Helping Youth International English Club, where they collaborated with Meet English Academy to develop an online English Winter Camp for 25 students. In 2016, they became a Youth Ambassador for JINAN-SACRAMENTO SISTER CITY CORPORATION, representing the organization and speaking at annual conferences.

In 2019, Brian worked as an Intern at Eyecenter Optometric and as a Researcher at California Northstate University, where they conducted experiments related to heavy metal concentration and its effects on p-glycoprotein expression.

Currently, they are working as an Undergraduate Researcher at QB3, utilizing their skills and knowledge to contribute to research projects.

Brian Wen completed their education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2020 to 2024, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Biology. Prior to that, they attended Folsom High School from 2016 to 2020. In terms of certifications, Brian obtained the following: Group 1 Biomedical Research Investigators from CITI Program in March 2022, Python for Students from LinkedIn in July 2021, Biomedical Researchers and staff from CITI Program in June 2022, CPR & AED from Folsom Fire Dept in April 2019. Brian also has additional certifications in HIPAA from Marshall Medical Center and Hospice and Palliative Care from First Call Hospice, but no information regarding their obtainment month and year is provided.
