Benjamin Thiry

Benjamin Thiry is an experienced professional in the actuarial and analytics fields, currently serving as a Technical Advisor Analytics at QBE Re since January 2023. Prior to this role, Benjamin was a Pricing Actuary at FEDERALE Assurance-Verzekering, where responsibilities included developing pricing strategies and automating portfolio monitoring processes. Previous experience also includes working as an Actuarial Consultant at EY, where Benjamin conducted actuarial audits for major Belgian insurance companies and provided support for actuarial mergers and acquisitions. An internship at AG Insurance focused on data process management and benchmarking. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences from Université catholique de Louvain and a Master's degree in Economics from the Economics School of Louvain, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the same university.
