Flavio Junqueira

Flavio Junqueira serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Qbeast, overseeing technology choices, architecture, and product roadmap, while engaging in research that shapes future developments. Previously, Flavio held multiple key positions at Dell EMC, including Senior Distinguished Engineer focusing on Data Management within the ISG CTIO organization, and Chief Architect for a data management project. Flavio also led the Pravega Engineering team as Senior Director of Software Engineering. Additionally, Flavio contributed to The Apache Software Foundation in various roles, including Officer for Apache ZooKeeper and Committer for several projects. Flavio holds a PhD in Computer Science from UC San Diego and an MSc in Electrical Engineering - Computer Networks from COPPE/UFRJ.
