Andrey Vasnetsov

Andrey Vasnetsov has held various positions in the tech industry since 2014. Andrey began their career as a Software Developer at Mail.Ru Group, where they worked on a task distribution system and optimized algorithms for processing large data. In 2016, they moved to dotin LLC as a Software Engineer, developing a social profile matching platform. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Тинькофф Банк as a Machine Learning Engineer and Team Lead, heading a group of two Data Scientists and a Python developer. In 2020, they became a Lead Data Scientist at MoBerries. Most recently, in 2022, they co-founded Qdrant, a vector similarity engine, where they serve as the CTO.

Andrey Vasnetsov received a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies from Bauman Moscow State Technical University from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from the same university between 2015 and 2017. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: a Neural Networks for Machine Learning certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2017, and a Coursera: Machine Learning - Stanford University certificate from Coursera.
