Ben Brew

Ben Brew is a skilled media communications professional currently serving as a Media Communications Specialist at QIC since July 2022. Previously, Ben held the position of Senior Media Advisor for the Queensland Government from November 2018 to July 2022, focusing on areas such as small business, skills and training, resources, energy, public works, and procurement. Prior roles include Media Advisor, where responsibilities encompassed emergency services, housing, public works, and sport, as well as experiences as a Shadow Reporter and News Intern at Network 10. Ben earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the Queensland University of Technology, complementing a strong educational foundation that includes a Queensland Certificate of Education from Brisbane State High School.
