Michael Brown

Michael Brown is an experienced professional in the real estate and asset management industry, currently serving as an Independent Member on the QIC Real Estate Trustee Governance Committee since February 2022. Brown has a strong background in strategic partnerships, having previously held the position of General Manager at Vicinity Centres, where responsibilities included overseeing the management and performance of wholesale property funds for institutional clients. Michael's career spans roles such as Joint Head of Wholesale at Novion Property Group, Senior Fund Manager at CFSGAM Property, and earlier positions at Colonial First State Global Asset Management, Unilodge Group, and Deutsche Asset Management. Brown holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW and a Graduate Diploma in Urban Estate Management from UTS, in addition to a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
