Robert Porter

Robert Porter has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Robert is currently working as the Director and Company Secretary at Queensland Community Foundation. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Legal Counsel at QIC, where they also served as a Legal Counsel and a Legal Counsel (secondee). Robert also worked as a Solicitor at DLA Piper and as a Lawyer at Porter Davies. Robert gained experience as a Legal Counsel at Easternwell and as a Litigation Paralegal at Clifford Chance LLP and Herbert Smith Freehills. Robert'searly legal career began as a Lawyer at Mahoneys.

Robert Porter's education history starts with their attendance at Toowoomba Grammar School from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Queensland in 2004 and completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the same university in 2009. In 2010, Robert pursued further education at The College of Law Australia and received a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Most recently, in 2021, they completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
